About UsNepali Technical Assistance Group (NTAG) is a non-government and non-profit public health organization dedicated to improving the health and nutritional status of women and children of Nepal through sustainable development changes. Established in 1993, NTAG is known for its proven expertise in increasing the health-seeking behaviors of the community people through sensitization, advocacy, education, and, above all, social mobilization. In addition, NTAG uses innovative techniques to build the capacity of the district- and community-based health personnel and community volunteers to improve health services and their reach to the community. NTAG works in close coordination with a multitude of Nepal’s government bodies, INGOs, NGOs, multilateral and bilateral funding agencies, and international partners including the Government of Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Department of Health Services (DHS), Ministry of Local Development (MoLD), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), World Health Organization (WHO), Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), Micronutrient Initiative (MI), Pathfinder/Extending Services Delivery (ESD), Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and others, while also collaborating with international universities conducting research in Nepal, in combined efforts to improve the health and nutritional status of women and children of Nepal. NTAG is headquartered in Maitighar, Kathmandu, and has a branch office in Birendra Bazar, Saptari.
